Usage and operation steps
1. Grinding the straight edge: install the simple track on the glass according to the relevant dimensions, adjust the grinding guide wheel to make it move smoothly and flexibly along the guide rail in a straight line, so as to achieve the purpose of grinding the straight edge.
When using, first select a grinding wheel suitable for the thickness and shape of the plate edge to be polished and install it on the mill, fix the track, adjust the high and low position of the grinding wheel, lock it with the locking handle, adjust the feed handle, make the grinding wheel contact with the plate edge, and have a suitable grinding amount, then open the water valve to spray cold water onto the grinding wheel, start the power switch to make the grinding wheel run normally, and then operate the mill to grind along the track at a constant speed.
Note that grinding cannot be stopped in the middle, otherwise there will be depression at the stop. If this happens, it is necessary to repeat grinding once more after a small amount of feed.
If the operator is skilled, the rail guide can not be used, and the machine can be directly operated to grind out a more standard edge shape. After grinding, replace the polishing wheel for polishing. There is no need for track during polishing, just operate the mill to make the polishing wheel close to the edge of the plate, properly pressurize and reciprocate several times, and then polish it to the required brightness.
2. Grinding curve and arc edge: without track, just operate the mill skillfully to grind along the curve slab edge. If it is round, fix the center of the circle at the center of the plate, and make the mill move around the center to produce standard round products. The processing method of other processes is the same as that of grinding straight edge.
Operation precautions and maintenance
1. Before operation, check whether the cable is in good condition, whether there is damage or leakage, and whether the electrical appliance is damp. The leakage protector must be installed in the user's line.
2. Wear insulating gloves during operation to prevent accidents.
3. Cooling water with sufficient pressure must be available during grinding to ensure grinding efficiency and service life of grinding wheel.
4. If the rotating speed suddenly drops sharply during use, reduce the pressure of the mill and try not to overload it, otherwise it is easy to damage the motor. Check the carbon brush frequently and pay attention to replacement to prevent abrasion.
